I have just received a phone call tonight from John Ford from Mid-Hudson. He has informed me that his hearing is rescheduled for the first week of April. This is where he will receive a release or, more likely, a refusal. His attorney has stated the prosecutors want him there for life. The main reason the institute is holding him are they consider him delusional based upon his claims that: he worked with and/or for the CIA and Mossad and that he believe in UFOs. His attorney will provide evidence, he says, that show there was indeed a conspiracy against him to at least make him believe these people were from the CIA or Mossad. John also confirmed that his attorney was originally hired by A&E Channel who was going to do a full blown documentary on this case, but they backed out which we can only assume is that a “higher up” in the corporate chain ordered this. To me, this suggests that the case if FAR bigger than just Suffolk County politics and even New York State politics. A&E cannot afford to be a part of fixing this grave injustice. All of this is turning John Ford into the Nelson Mandela of UFO disclosure. The longer he remains incarcerate, the more like Nelson Mandela he becomes. John appreciates the attention his case has received from myself and Rick Smith and has asked that all of us keep this in the public eye as much as possible. John will also be meeting with Preston Nichols and George Dickson this week about him being interviewed by George. John’s attorney is supposed to interview Joseph Mazzuchelli soon. He is the character who set up John Ford in the first place but is claiming he can help get him off. Whether he is of use or not will be at the attorney’s discretion. There is other evidence that will support John and the next step, if not outright release, is that he would be moved to a much less severe environment. Rick Smith has interviewed several professionals and has found out that for John to be incarcerated under these circumstances for 16 years is completely unheard of as he is not a violent person and has a good record.
Since A&E broke ranks with John Ford, his attorney took the case on anyway even though she was not being paid. She can no longer afford to do this although she has given him a reduced rate. Please make any contributions to the John Ford Initiative at the above website.

thanks for friending me i was inteviewed by rick smith friday night and rick posted it on the ufoteacher.com…you have answered one of my doubts about john’s sanity when i realize that john believed he was with the cia and mossad. john phones us every weekend and before that wrote us numerous letter which we saved. my wife says she will only turn the letters over to his attorney. we were interviewed by a &e for the documentary and were disappointed by not really surprised when it was thrashed. listen to my interview and if you have any questions you can email me or phone my cell i am at 631-513-1837…by the way i read all of the montauk projects and met preston nichols shortly after johns arrest…very interesting person. anyway i hope that we can get something like a public outcry . i have people that on long island that are willing to take him in if he gets out of custody. I knew many of the principals involved and as i said in my interview the chief administrative judge of the state of new york is gail prudenti …a john powell appointed judge when powell was the head of the republican party of suffolk county…In fact gail prudenti attended powells funeral and said nice things about him in the newsday article… an old saying is the fish stinks from the head down. i know judge gazzillo is good friends with tony gazzolla..another liar who said in a newsday article that he did not know who john ford was. when in fact i was a member of john’s conservative party club…john ford was president of the club and tony gazzola was the treasury who john at one point accused him of stealing funds from the club. so all of this is a lie built upon a lie…and these sanity hearings are basically kangaroo courts no jury only the judges verdict.
Thank you, John. There is no question John was involved with people in intelligence. He was what the intelligence agencies call an “asset”. They used him for their purposes and he was not paid. This is what they like, an asset that they do not have to pay because there is no traceable evidence tracing back to them. Assets are often set up to be patsies or sitting ducks, not unlike Lee Harvey Oswald. Preston believes it was a Suffolk County operation that did in John Ford. They were certainly involved. There was also a Cable 12 news video that showed a woman who had the log book for all those who entered the town dump. She was the gatekeeper for the dump and she threatened to expose it on Channel 12. This is what caused a lot of problems as they thought Ford might have had the book which had all the evidence about illegal dumping. John never had the book and I don’t know what happened to the lady. Powell, of course, was convicted for accepting bribes for illegal dumping. He was a convicted criminal, a felon. He even sees them now, but this is still no excuse to lock him up for so long. Remember, even professional in the mental health industry have said that it is completely unprecedented to lock up a non-violent person for so long. They would do far better for themselves to taken John Ford to the side and settle for a few million and hope he doesn’t investigate in the directions they don’t want him to. By the way, John has a place to stay if he gets out but do let him know that when you speak to him next. I hope to hear from him tonight.
